At SWIMEO, we are proud of our commitment to French manufacturing. Our product range, including the SWIMEO X counter-current swimming turbine, embodies quality, innovation, and the expertise of a network of French suppliers. We use high-quality materials that withstand UV exposure and saltwater over time.

A Strong Local Commitment

The Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region is the birthplace of our production. 90% of our suppliers are located here. By working with local suppliers, we reinforce our commitment to the regional economy and ensure superior traceability and quality of our materials and components. This proximity also allows us to reduce our carbon footprint and foster strong, long-lasting relationships with our partners.

Marine-Grade 316L Stainless Steel: A Material of Excellence

For the metal in our counter-current swimming turbines, we use 316L stainless steel. Known for its exceptional resistance to corrosion, even in harsh environments such as pools, this material ensures not only the durability of our products but also their aesthetics and long-term performance. 316L stainless steel is essential to ensure that SWIMEO X turbines meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The Manufacturing Process

316L Stainless Steel Cutting

316L stainless steel parts are laser cut for optimal precision and cutting quality. Designed to be durable and resilient, the parts are then bent, welded, and deburred to ensure a perfect finish. This video shows the precision with which 316L stainless steel plates are cut to form the stainless steel plate that protects the SWIMEO turbine. This step is crucial to ensure that each part fits perfectly and functions optimally.

Bending and Welding

After cutting, the 316L stainless steel plates are bent and welded. These processes require advanced technical expertise to ensure that the welds are strong and that the parts maintain their structural integrity.
